Nickel Silver fretwire is available and sold in single 2 feet lengths (610mm) – typically pre-radiused to approximately 10”.
A range of fretwire is available to suit most requirements - from Narrow/Tall through to Bass/Super Jumbo sizes.

NB. Nickel Silver, 18% Nickel Silver and German Silver are common terms used around fretwire. However, there is no actual silver component.
Jescar advise that typically, 5-6 feet (1.5 - 1.8m) of fretwire is needed to do a full guitar.
Typical alloy composition is 18% Nickel and large amounts of copper and sometimes zinc, along with other trace elements.
